Early this morning, my daddy, Howard Crockett, left for a mission trip in Guatemala. I am so excited for him and always love to hear what the Lord has done while he is there. Below is the email that was sent out by his team leader. Please join me in praying for them while they are gone.
The email:
We will be primarily be doing construction work in Santa Caterina, which is situated in western Guatemala, Quiche province. However, we are open to God's direction and may be doing a variety of things including interacting with local children in Santa Caterina.
By praying for a specific team member and for all of us, you become an active part of this mission team. Please pray every day that we are in Guatemala. Please pray:
- that God will fill us with His Spirit and empower us to minister in His name.
- that we will be able to minister to these beautiful people.
- that they will see Christ in us.
- for energy to do all that we need to do.
- for God to teach us and to help us grow in our own walk with Him.
- for our safe travel and good health.
On a very selfish note, please pray that Hope stays put for another week so my dad can be here when she arrives. He's not in a place where we can easily get to him.
