Cousins

This is an exciting month for us. Aside from the upcoming birth of Baby 3, Hope's birthday and Grayson's birthday, my brother, Jon, his wife, Robin and their precious son, Chance, are in town from D.C. The kids and I drove up to Conroe on Monday to see them and had the best time. In just a few short 24 hours so many memories were made.

I loved that Grayson wanted to hold Chance every opportunity he had. He already loves his cousin.

Jon taught Grayson how to throw a football like a "man." It was awesome to watch Grayson listen intently to what Jon was telling him and then to actually do it. Jon was so patient with him. it was fun for me to watch out the window!

Hope loves her Uncle Jon and Aunt Robin. She has already picked up calling him the same thing that I call him, "Jon-Jon." She wanted him to hold her the whole time. It was precious.

Chance has the most contagious giggle! I didn't have my video camera, but Robin captured it all. We have no idea what Hope was doing, but Chance got so tickled by her. To which she said, "My lap, mommy." She also wanted to hold her baby cousin!

It's fun for me to watch my little brother be a daddy. He is wonderful with Chance, as is Robin. I am blessed to have her as a sister in law.

It's also hard for me to believe how much I love that little guy already. Love comes so naturally with your own child, I was surprised at how immediately I loved my brother's son. We love you, Chance!

We can't wait until this weekend when we get to spend more time with them!
