Today we had Michaela Joy's Bible presentation at church. It's hard to believe that the first time I did this was with Grayson 4 years ago. It's always a special time to commit to raise our children in the precepts of the Lord and to have the pastor pray for them. Today, Mark Poe, presented her with her Bible. I loved that he was the one as he and his wife, Kristi, have been friends since I first join Second almost 11 years ago. They have been there through my single years, the first years of my marriage and now the birth of my 3 children. Anyway, this was us verbalizing what I committed to Jamison over 6 years ago when he proposed. Before he asked me to marry him, he asked me if I promised to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord? I committed that to him then, and now I publically commit it for our third child, Michaela Joy. What a blessing.
