Michaela's 1st Birthday Party

I did something crazy. I had the girl's birthdays on the same day.  Hope's was from 10-12 and we turned around and celebrate Michaela from 4-6 pm. I was exhausted, but it was a great day of celebrating.

I made both Grayson and Hope their "smash" cakes out of a number one pan that was used for both of my brother's.  So, I made Michaela's as well.  Here it is:

Mimi and Pops gave her this chair. To say she loves it is an understatement.  She actually got it a few months ago. She will crawl up the stairs and down the hall just to sit in it. Usually she has a toy in the chair with it. She crosses her legs at the ankles and just smiles the cutest smile.  It melts my heart.  We brought the chair down for her party.  The birthday girl and her chair:

We rented the slip and slide for the whole day.  The big kids played outside and talked the daddy's into helping them fly down it.

Will Robinson...one of Michaela's little friends. He was born on 9/2/10.

Michaela and the boys.  Hunter and Luke were born on Sept 7, 2010. However, Luke was sick and only Hunter was able to make it. Erica is in the background and she has Sean born in January. He didn't make the party either, but I wanted to make note that the birthday party was in deed for Michaela's friends; although all of them are boys.

Michaela has been taking steps for about a week. Here she is going to mommy at the party. She is super proud of herself.
