Lord help me today remember my kids are young and do not see the world as I do.
Help me to remember that stopping to love them is more important than my list of things to do.
Give me ears to hear what they are truly asking; eyes to see things from their perspective;
hands to heal their hurts and hugs to calm their souls.
Help me see the good and not the bad.
Help me build up and not tear down.
Give me an understanding heart, kind words and a gentle answer.
Give me patience to answer the unending questions, wisdom in administering discipline
and discernment to be my aide.
Lord help me make your agenda, my agenda and help me remember these are your children, not mine.
