Like a Kid at Christmas

So, I feel like a kid at Christmas. Since I have to be up before 4 a.m., I should be in bed snoozing away, but instead I am up on the computer. I am nervous, excited, anxious, scared about what tomorrow holds. I have gotten so comfortable with just one child. I have a routine figured out, he can communicate with me, we have fun together, all is well. Yet the Lord saw it in His goodness to bestow yet another blessing on us. I am still amazed that He would give us yet another child - I still feel so inadequate in many ways to have even one. I am excited to meet her but anxious about what life with 2 will be like. I just know that the Lord will see me through this.

As I reflect tonight, I remember the joy I had when Grayson was handed to me nearly 2 years ago and can't wait to meet our second little one.
