Hope's Helmet

Hope is officially a member of Generation Flat Head. With the combination of the war against SIDS and positioning Hope to sleep on her back, forgetting to rotate her appropriately when she was little, being positioned funny in utero...our little one has basically a square head. It is as wide as it is deep. Poor Hope....

So this week we ventured into the world of helmets. She is not so sure of it. I'm not so sure of it, but if I would give her braces to straighten her teeth, I figure we should give her a helmet to round out her head.

The good news is, since Grayson has decided to start throwing his toys, Hope will be well protected. She can learn to walk and fall with no serious brain injuries. Most importantly if she wants to enter into infant hockey, she is set.

  3. No, but I was excited they left me a place to put a cute little bow on top of her head!

  4. Did you decorate it or did it come already "prettied-up"? She still looks gorgeous, helmet or not. :)
