There is an old wives tale that says if the baby's heart rate is above 140, it's a girl and if it is below 140, a boy. We're going to test this theory out. Let the record show, I believe I am having a BOY. (I have thought this from the time I got over the initial shock to now when I am craving salsa with the same intensity that I did when I was preggers with Little Man). The heartrate came in today in the 160s. Stay tuned until August to see if the Old Wives or the Old Mom is Right. Did I mention that we are not finding out? How fun!
Otherwise, I am right on track for Aug 11th.
i wish that i could have kept from finding out what brandon was. at 24 weeks i couldn't stand it another minute and i called my doctor's office in a fit! continued prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby...whether a boy or girl!
ReplyDeleteWas the heartrate prediction correction with your other 2? Carly's was the sterotypical high for girls...but Zachary's was even higher the entire time!
