Game

One of my friends, Wendy, tagged me in this fun game. The rules are: List 10 Random things about yourself and then pass them along to 10 of your favorite Bloggers.

This takes some work....I feel like my life is a pretty open book and even more so because I used to teach Bible study. I felt like my antics, as well as my family's antics were fair game. Plus, it seemed only right to have transparency in my teaching. After all, I never wanted the impression to be given that I was anything but a work in progress. God's abundant grace is seen daily as I watch the sanctification process going on. So, here is what I could come up with; my apologies if you have heard them before.

1. I would prefer only one bite of dessert...even better if it comes off someone else's plate. That's usually all I need. I will, however, eat a whole bowl of ice cream with magic shell if I have had a really rotten day. Thanks to my college friend, Ashley, who helped me learn that magic shell is the cure for almost all things, including a bad hair cut.

2. While I have great self control when it comes to desserts, put a basket of chips and salsa in front of me, and I will eat all of them by myself.

3. I am an analytical nerd. I would rather manipulate problems in a spreadsheet than do something artsy craftsy. (I have a great appreciation for people who can do this stuff). I have a degree in Math - straight up math.


4. In general, I don' t do well with surprises. I like to know things; which is why it is so out of character for me to not find out the sex of Baby 3!

5. My nursery was burnt orange and white. My favorite toy as a little bitty - an orange and white football that played "The Eyes of Texas."

6. I don't drink coffee. I prefer my caffeine cold and on ice; diet coke is my drink of choice. Bonus if it comes from Sonic.

7. All of my children had/have August due dates: Aug 26, Aug 10, and now Aug 11th. Other than my friend, Heather Harbuck, who also has 3 kids with Aug bdays, that is something that is unique!

8. I love football more than my husband.

9. Growing up my nickname was "Jen C 91." My oldest and closest friends still call me "Jen C."

10. I don't eat pork. My mom claims I stopped eating it shortly after reading Charlotte's Web.
