I did about as well on my Hot for the Holidays quest this week as I did with keeping up with my blog. That's not quite accurate I made all week minus one day without a bite of ice cream and that is progress. The lack of sleep made the running difficult and the diet coke consumption hard to keep at one per day, although I did get down to 1.5 on a few of the days. Progress! :) I ran 3 miles Sat, 6 miles Sun, 3 miles on Tues and well....if I get my run in tonight then I completed my running for this week. I did manage to stay out of the snacks, for the most part.
Still no pictures although take my word, my belly is BIGGER this week! As the title says, "I'll think about it tomorrow!" Here's to a fit Holiday and a better week next week.
Running sounds like a passion for you. I am going to attempt to become better with running as I use to in my younger days and I know it is a great way to get your body in shape. Good luck this week. by the way there is a yummy slow churn yogurt out there in the frozen ice cream area that you would think it was ice cream. It is much better for you, I bet you wont notice it is yogurt.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're making progress. Keep it up!!
ReplyDeletei am so impressed with all of your running...that is excellent!
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the running, I am SO NOT a runner. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed by your running! Get job. I also wouldn't kill yourself about the 1.5 cokes a day. You have a new baby. My baby is 1 and my oldest is 3, I still consume a TON of coffee!
ReplyDeleteNice job this week!
Girl, I'm tellin you, I couldn't even run to the stop sign and it's only 2 houses down. The miles you have run already this week is an awesome accomplishment! Keep up the great work and next week we all get to try hard again! See ya next week!
ReplyDeletewow, your bad week doesn't sound too bad to me!... i had a REALLY bad week too!! so, here's to a better week next week--fresh start!! sounds like you're making some progress! and the running is awesome! i don't actually like to run, but that's what i prefer to do--makes me feel like i'm getting such a good workout!!! keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteCan I move next door to you so you can kick my butt in to gear with the running? I'm trying...but it is slow going. Keep it up!
ReplyDeletei'll have to agree with all the other ladies on here, your running is amazing! i also second the slow churn icecream and would like to add that skinny cow is fantastic. i am more likely to eat awful if i cant have my sweet treats every now and then. and i admire your goal with the sodas. i just pretend its water :) i need caffeine!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I've found this little on-line support group to help me with my Diet Coke addiction. It's great to know I'm not alone. I also cannot have ice cream in the house or I cannont leave it alone. I think we are kindred sprits!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job with the running. Good luck this week!
